 One of Ours  Its size and shape are like a roma or egg a bit elongated than the usual Roundish Rocoto. Its heat level is around 8 and it has a marvelous Bean-like flavor. A great plant to grow as grows like the Normal Rocoto with the same unique feature - its seeds are black  all Manzano’s/rocoto’s have black seeds which easily distinguishes it from other varieties.

(Capsicum pubescens)

         Originally from Ecuador or Peru, this fruit ripen from Green to a pure Lemon Yellow. The Pod is small and measures 5 – 7 cm long, when dried this chilli becomes wrinkled and tapered. The fruits have a strong citrus overtone, Goes really well with Seafood

Aji Lemon

(Capsicum baccatum)

This is the most popularly grown chilli in India. It is also called the Finger Hot Pepper. The Plant grows to about 50 cm in Pots and is filled with heaps of 10cm long wrinkled chilli’s. Pusa Jwala

One of the Black Plants. Leaves vary in colour from Green to Black, a Fantastic looking plant.   

Pods are black and mature into a red colour with a size of 1—2cm long. The plant grows well in pots to 50cm, adds that dash of colour to any garden. the mature Chilli’s  have a great taste and nice bite.

Black Prince

An Interesting looking chilli, with semi glossy , dark Purple to Black Leaves. The Plants grow to about 50 cm and the upright branching holds an Abundance of shiny Black, small fruit that ripen to a spicy Red when ripe. Black Pearl

This is my Favorite plant .For a start the leaves are variegated  , leaves  in combinations of green ,purple, white.  The chilli’s themselves start off green then to purple (with amazing Striping) then finally to a Pretty Red. Ideal for Pots or window sill, the plants grow to 30-40cm, a Nice bite with a Pleasant Taste..  (Highly Recommended)

 Here’s a beauty, the NTR. Robust Plants growing to 50cm in pots. The chilli’s have an amazing flavour, sweet and capsicum like with a Burn that Creeps up on you. The chilli’s start off green then change to a Deep Red via Blacks , Brownish tinges. 1 of our own Varieties

Bruce the Chilli

Bruce, dunno where the name came from but that’s the name of this Mild chilli. The Plant grows to 75 cm and is a heavy cropper. The Bruce chilli is 12 cm long and turns from green to Red on maturity.It is a very Mild chilli with a heat of about 3. Great for those who don’t like it hot but still like the flavor.Ideal for Pickling, stir frys as well as drying and sauces.

An ornamental and useful in the kitchen. Green foliage is highlighted by purple veins and beautiful purple flowers. Sturdy plants grow to a metre tall. Produces abundant yields of 5-7 cm fruits similar in shape to jalapenos, the chillis themselves start off a shiny black ripening to red. Great flavor. 70-80 days from transplant.

 From Indonesia the Lombok which originates from the island of Lombok and is basically grown there enmasse  due to its great flavour and just above mid heat, the Plants get to just under a Meter and produce heaps of  pods up to 15 cm long  and bout 2cm wide, a great looking Plant in either Pots or Ground.

The generic name for chilli in Bali is Cabe, pronounced chabey  this was sent with a few other Indonesian types and this came as the Cabe so will keep it at that, the Plants get to just over 50 Cm  are Bushy and filled with light green pods that turn to orange when ripe, the pods themselves are a bout 3-5 cm long with a mid heat and great flavour.                                                  Heat Level 7   unavailable atm

An Annuum type from Vietnam, lovely looking plant grows to a meter and gets bushy its filled with 3cm long pods  that turn from green to red , they have a bit above medium heat and a sharp capsicum like taste, great for asian cooking, stir frys

There are many varieties of chilli that are called birds eye, and it should be noted that the African varieties differs from the longer Thai and Indian varieties. This plant can grow from one-and-a-half to four feet in height,  with very hot chillis that start Green and ripen to a fiery Red.

 Smaller than the Malawi but hotter, the Zimbabwe Birdseye grows smallish and about 30 cm tall so great for Pots, masses of 1cm pequin like pods appear on this compact plant but be warned they arnt mild, they pack a good punch. A great one for windowsills

An early producing variety from Asia, plants grow quick and to bout 50cm in pots but get bushy over a few seasons producing mass’s of 6-7 cm pods, starting green and ripening to Red. The Flavor is a capsicum/applish taste and has a crunchy applish texture with a burn that stays.

A Very Cool looking Ornamental,  grows to about 40– 50 cm tall and is filled with what looks like little yellow jellybeans that have a sharp hit of heat, terrific little Plant in both looks and heat, a great variety for Pots but also does well in the garden

Grew this to see if was a super chilli as Love those and got a surprise, they taste like super chili's and as Hot But the Plants instead of short and squat are bushy and grow to a bush nearly a meter tall, filled with 100’s of chillis longer and thinner than the Original that start a light green and ripen too a Bright red. Great in pots or Ground they look Fantastic when in full fruiting mode.

 A plant that seems to keep producing, smallish and grows out rather than up, only gets to about 30 cm tall but mine in a pot was nearly a meter wide and semi cascaded over side, looks great and has a heap of little pods all under a cm round that provide a nice firey heat to any dish, great sprinkled over pizza’s             Heat Level 7   10 Seeds $4

This High yielding hybrid variety produces heaps  of chili's about  10-12 cm long turning from green to a vibrant Red on ripening, plant gets to 75 cm or so and is very sturdy. Grows well in Pots as mine are but also go great in the Garden.  Slightly sweet but a good all over mouth burn that’s upper Mid heat level, they dry great or chop and use fresh in salads or whatever need a bit of Zing in.

from Curico in Chile, this 2-3ft tall plant produces good yields of 10cm long pendant shaped pods which mature from light green, through pale yellow and then to red, Apparently best eaten immature they have a citrusy taste and be great for making Salsa

tall gangly plant loves to grow, looks similar to the Aji lemon, pendant type pods 6cm long and they seem oblongish.. Thick skinned and juicy with a great stingy heat that hits all over and stays for a while. Taste, they are fantastic and have a sweet initial taste then peppery and then the heat hits and builds for a bit, the great taste stays for ages as well

From Brazil comes the Cheiro Para a chinense variety that likes to grow, mines in a pot with roots going ballistic as wants the ground. Sturdy plants in pots grow to bout 75cm.. the pods look like little Habs or to me coutersinking drill bits as some go to a point but they are ribbed and a deep red upon ripening, they look cool and also found to be very bug resistant

From South America the Cumari These small pea size (3-4 mm) pods grow on a branching shrub like plant. Very prolific with heaps of pods on the Plant, great for drying and pack a punch with a decent burn that lasts for ages and a great fruity taste.. A Great plant for Pots as still produces well if potted.

Cumari do para, from the state of Para in Brazil. A Cumari type thats a Chinense instead of the norm Praetermissum variety.. grows up and out like the usual cumari and takes longer than the Other to get into it but also goes longer into the season. 1 cm long Yellow Pods cover the plant and an easy grower..

Orange Lantern, a Chinense variety from ?? An Awesome grower and prolific producer, plant even though in Pot was 7 feet tall and constantly picking pods. instant twang and sweetish.. heatwise, hit me in the throat then tongue and built a little then stayed there for a good 8 or so min so a decent burn

From Japan comes the Takanotsume, also called the Hawk Claw probably due to it’s Talon shape, the Pods grow upright and in Clumps. Plant grows to about 50cm so great for pots, the Pods are about 4-5 cm long and a stingy Hot Burn that lingers would go great in anything that needs a bit of Oomph. Great looking little Plant

 Pimenta bico or Chupetinha is a Brazilian Chinense variety that translated means “little Rubber Nipple” and can see why, the chillis are a bit over 1cm long and look like weird little Nipples and sort of cone shaped, they look quite weird yet cool. The plants grow to around 50 cm and go great in Pots

  From Brazil in South America comes this Lovely little Chinense, the Plant grows up and out to bout 60-70cm  and full of little Cone /nipple shaped pods that end up a Bright Yellow, a sweet pepperish flavour and a Mid heat makes this a great Plant to grow, does well in either pot or ground
